TERMS

Terms of use

Effective October 19, 2026

Tunoop is a browser game where players submit YouTube links and guess each other's picks. These terms explain the basis for using the service provided by the Tunoop operator. Use the Contact page for questions.

1. The service

The current game uses invitation-based rooms for 3–16 players and does not require accounts or charge a game access fee. Your internet connection and use of third-party services such as YouTube may involve costs under your own arrangements. Changes to the operating model or paid features will be explained on the site before they apply.

2. Playing with others

Do not use nicknames, chat, custom themes, or submitted links to share other people's private information, illegal content, harassment, hateful abuse, or threats. Do not impersonate others, disrupt rooms, or send excessive automated requests. The operator may restrict use as needed after assessing reports or service disruption.

People with a room link can attempt to join, so share it only with your intended group. The host manages play and holds the full game state. Avoid sharing account information or personal contact details in chat, especially with people you do not know.

3. Songs and user contributions

Videos play through YouTube's official player. Choose links you are entitled to use in accordance with applicable law and YouTube's terms. Tunoop does not claim ownership of the music or videos. Playback within the game does not grant separate rights to broadcast, re-upload, or publicly perform that content.

Contributions are used as needed to run the game and display information to its players. Check for private information and rights issues before submitting. Reporting instructions are on the Contact page.

4. Game progress and recovery

Scoring and voting follow the published game rules. The host's browser runs the game, so a host disconnection can stop play. There is no automatic host transfer. Saved host data can be recovered within 24 hours of its last save using the same site address and browser profile. Clearing storage, changing devices, or connection failures can prevent recovery.

5. Third-party services and changes

YouTube availability, ads, playback restrictions, browsers, and networks can affect playback, synchronization, and access. Bug fixes, security responses, maintenance, or feature changes may interrupt the service. We will communicate important changes on the site where reasonably possible. These terms do not limit your rights under applicable law or exclude liability where the law does not permit it.

6. Privacy and updates

See the Privacy policy for game connections, browser storage, optional analytics, and third-party processing. Changes to these terms will update this page and its effective date, with notice of important changes.
