ABOUT TUNOOP

You know the song.
But who picked it?

Tunoop is a music guessing game for 3–16 people. Pick a YouTube song for the same theme, listen together, and work out which friend submitted each track.

3–16 players in a private roomOne song each for one shared themeGuess every song before any answers

Your friends' taste is the clue

For a theme like “Songs for a rainy day,” one friend might choose something quiet while another picks a dance track. Think about their favorite artists, unexpected genres, and shared memories. Knowing the most music is only one part of the game.

No submitters are revealed until everyone has voted on every song. With three players, you listen to and guess all three tracks first. Only then do you return to the first song for the answers. This helps stop earlier answers from giving away the remaining choices.

One game, four parts

  1. ThemeThe host chooses a random theme, one of three suggestions, or their own
  2. PickEveryone submits a link and checks it with the preview
  3. GuessListen to every track; vote on its submitter and whether it fits the theme
  4. RevealRevisit the songs in order, see the answers and scores, and listen again

Set the pace together

The host controls playback, pausing, and moving on. Each player controls their own volume and mute setting. Use the room chat to talk. Game length depends on how long your group listens and discusses each song. For your first game, try 3–5 people before inviting a bigger group.

What you need

You need an internet-connected browser, at least two other players, and YouTube links that can play inside the game. There is no public matchmaking. The host creates a room and shares its invitation link with the other players.

Songs play through YouTube's official player. Availability depends on a video's visibility, region, and embedding restrictions. Tunoop does not host or download the music.
